Proven reoffending rate

Proportion of all offenders who reoffend (%).

This latest offender cohort period overlaps with the third national lockdown imposed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and a period of on-going recovery for the courts. As a result, volatility continues to be seen in the reoffending figures, with overall proven reoffending down from the same quarter last year but up from the previous quarter.
